Rock Farm Slane, Ireland

Goodleaf Tree climbing at Rock Farm SlaneWe’ve branched out  – to Rock Farm Slane, Ireland.

“Great day climbing and swinging in the trees on Rock Farm Slane. Couldn’t recommend more. Beautiful setting, stunning oak tree and really great fun instructors. Not to forget the gorgeous flapjacks. Can’t wait to come back with more friends and introduce them to this place.”

A tree climbing partnership

We’ve partnered with Rock Farm Slane to bring tree climbing to Ireland. And not just any old tree climbing; it’s Goodleaf Tree Climbing. All Rock Farm’s tree climbing staff have been tutored and mentored by Paul. They’ve undergone extensive training, completed and passed our unique Lantra Awards Facilitator training course and know how to deliver a high quality, brilliant tree climbing activity, almost exactly  like you would find on the Isle of Wight (yes, there’s even flapjack!) except there’s a view of a castle and the Boyne Valley…

Goodleaf Tree Climbing at Rock Farm

We’ve picked a gorgeous oak tree in the grounds of the farm for you to climb in. From the canopy there are super, wide ranging views of the Boyne Valley and you can spot historic Slane Castle from the branches. Rock Farm offers the Goodleaf two hour experience and great packages for hen parties and groups.Tree Climbing at Rock Farm Slane

Why Rock Farm Slane?

Put simply, they’re great people and we love their ethos.

The farm is on the gorgeous Slane Castle Estate and is a gold certified eco-tourism outdoor activity centre along the banks of the River Boyne.  Their commitment to sustainable travel sits well with us.

They offer guests a range of  glamping accommodation (open Apr-Oct) as well as year round accommodation offered in an eco guesthouse. More than that, they too are dedicated to providing an excellent experience for their guests. As well as tree climbing, other great adventures at Rock Farm include; electric bike hire, kayaking, rafting and Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP).
