Cowes Week Family Fun
We’ve got a lot of love for Cowes Week at Goodleaf. It’s impossible not to get excited about the nautical extravaganza, particularly when you’re part of it. For the third year running, Goodleaf have been invited to climb a tree in Northwood Park for Cowes Week and we’d love you to climb with us!
Cowes Week (29th July to 5th August 2017) means loads of people, boats and fun things to do – it’s one of the largest sailing regattas in the world. There’s a fantastic shore-side atmosphere and a real cosmopolitan vibe throughout the town. And who can resist the famous Friday night fireworks!
We’ll be climbing in a gorgeous 25 metre high Turkey oak tree at Northwood House on Sunday 30th July and Friday 4th August. Climbs are from 12 pm to 6 pm on the hour and you can book here. The tree is near the Castle Hill entrance to the park and has amazing views tree top views over the Solent. It’s the perfect place to get a bird’s eye view of the action on the water. Climbs are just £17 pp aged 8 and over.
For those who want a couple of hours out from the hustle and bustle of the seafront, Northwood Park is a relaxed haven of green. From open air theatre for children, falconry and cream teas through to open air cinema and a Gin Festival for the grown ups, there’s a real eclectic mix of things on at Northwood Park this Cowes Week.
