August at Goodleaf
Time is whizzing by and I meant to get this on the website about two weeks ago. Better late than never! There’s lots on this August at Goodleaf and of course there’s masses to do right across the Isle of Wight.
Cowes Week Tree Climb – 4th August
We’re branching out for our second Cowes Week Tree Climb of 2017 at the delightful Northwood Park. Set back from the main action on the sea front, we have got amazing views of the racing and the Solent from the top of our tree – pop along and say hello. If you fancy a climb, please do book in advance online as these climbs get very busy.
Off Island Corporate Event – 5th August
Yes, an off Island adventure! On the 5th of August we’re heading to Wiltshire to provide tree climbing for a corporate family day out. It’s something we’d love to do more of, so if you’re interested in finding out about tree climbing for your event, please do let us know.
On this occasion we’ve got to take the whole team, so there will be no tree climbing at Appley on the 5th August, but we’ll be back on the 6th August.
The Big Feastival – 25th – 27th August
We cannot wait for this one! We’ll be climbing right in the heart of this year’s Big Feastival, so pop along, say hello and come for a tree climb for a fantastic view of the festival.
<——–Here’s the The Big Feastival tree – with Matt having a little rest on a branch.
And the good news is – Matt and Grenville will still be tree climbing on the Isle of Wight for bank holiday weekend.
The Countryside Show – 28th August
One of our favourite events of the year…we’ll be tree climbing in the National Forest again and we’re very much looking forward to seeing our tree climbing chums from the Midlands.
*NEW* Family bushcraft adventure – 10th, 16th, 31st August
Our family bushcraft adventures at Ninham Country Holidays are proving really popular – we’ve only got six sessions left this August. You can book online, or if you’d like to book another time or are interested in having a party, please do let us know.
Tree Climbing at Appley
Happening throughout August! We’ve got some great group bookings in the diary but there’s plenty of space left for families and individual climbers. Just book online or give us a call on 0333 800 1188 (there’s always someone in the office in the morning and usually the afternoon) if you’d like more information.
Under the Pier…
Here’s where I write about one of our family’s favourite events of the year; Under the Pier. Except it’s not on…in August. The good news is that it IS on, but on the 3rd of September. Walking out under Ryde Pier and discovering all sorts of sea life as the tide pulls back is definitely worth waiting for…
See you in September 🙂
