Big Tree Party – Sunday May 31st
Big Tree Party in Appley Park..
It’s our birthday…and we’re having a party! Goodleaf Tree Climbing are celebrating ten years of climbing trees this May half term with a Big Tree Party on Sunday 31st May 2015.
Take to the tree top and join Goodleaf in the canopy of their majestic oak tree in the green heart of Appley Park. We’ll be tree climbing from 11 am to 4 pm. There’s some places available to book online and we’ve kept some for those relaxed folk who might like to turn up and climb on the day (subject to availability).
Some of our mates are coming along to join in the fun; Isle of Wight Geocaching will be running an Appley geocaching adventure, you can join Ian from Arc for a bug hunting escapade and we’ll even have Segway rides thanks to our chums from Tackt-Isle Adventures.
The best news there’s no charge for any of these activities except a donation to Friends of Appley, the local volunteer group that supports the park and beach area.
So bring a picnic, grab your sun hat and come and enjoy the day in Appley Park – be a part of our Big Tree Party*!
*all activities are subject to availability and you need to be age 8 or over to take part in tree climbing.
