At Goodleaf Tree Climbing we teach a special technique that uses your leg muscles to enable you to ascend the rope into the canopy - you don’t need to have arm muscles like Popeye to climb with us!
All the gear is ready for you when you arrive, after a brief health and safety session you practise your technqiue close to the ground before ascending the rope into the canopy. Once up in the tree top, you can enjoy a birds-eye view of the Island and across the Solent to the Mainland. We have a tree top hammock and there’s plenty of time for branch walking and hanging upside down – 40ft above the ground!
Tree climbing with Goodleaf is about having as much tree fun as you can in a safe and friendly environment. We provide everything you need; all the equipment, instruction, supervision, insurance - we even provide a hot cuppa and our delicious homemade Goodleaf flapjack for you to enjoy after you’ve descended from 50ft up in the canopy.
Goodleaf was set up by Paul McCathie in 2005. Paul is a qualified LANTRA Awards tree climbing instructor and a widely travelled arborist with over 10 years of arboricultural experience in New Zealand, Australia and the UK. All our staff are trained by Paul and work under his supervision.
