Cowes Week 2015 Tree Climb
We’ll be setting our ropes in a 25 metre high Turkey Oak near the Castle Hill entrance to the park. With amazing views from the top down over the Solent, it will be a great place to get a bird’s eye view of the action on the water.
Perfect for families and children of all ages, tree climbing is also a great land activity for the days when there’s no wind – we’d love to see if sailing crews can climb a tree as well as they climb a mast!
The tree is quite different from our tree in Appley Park, so if you’re a regular Goodleafer, why not come and give a new tree a go.
Tree Climbing takes place Sunday 9th August 2015 and Friday 14th August 2015
Climbs are an hour long from 12pm – 6pm (last climb starts 5pm)
Climbs £15 pp for the hour.
Book via our website or simply turn up and climb (subject to availability).
Tree climbers must be aged 8 and over.
The Tree Location:
It’s easy to find Northwood House; just look for the Red Funnel flyer (the big wheel). Once in the park, our tree is at the Castle Hill/Baring Road/Castle Road entrance to the park. Here’s a map below.
